The Memorial Park Board in Nashville met Monday night and President Steve Fletcher says they had some vandalism in the past month that needs to be repaired before the park is in full use again. There was spray painting a several pavilions, busted light bulbs and damage to the ball diamonds. He says this is very serious and they will prosecute any vandals to the full extent of the law, as this is criminal activity. The Nashville Lions Club will be having their Easter Egg Hunt in the park, as they Board approved this. They also approved Mai Fest for the weekend of May 23rd through the 25th. The Blue Racer Swim Team talked to the Board about their upcoming season, including the Conference Swim Meet on July 26th, says President Karrie Kujawa. There will be hundreds of people in Nashville for this all day event, so it should be a good day for businesses as well. The next meeting will be on Monday, May 5th at 7:30 PM.
