The Saint Louis Blues were shutout 3 to nothing to the Dallas Stars Friday night.  The regular season ended with another 3 to nothing shutout by the Detroit Red Wings.  The playoffs begin this week and the Blues will host the Chicago Blackhawks, the defending Stanley Cup Champions beginning Thursday.

The Saint Louis Cardinals beat the Chicago Cubs 6 to 4 yesterday in the rubber game of the series.  They beat the Cubs 10 to 4 on Saturday.  They now take on the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Nashville Hornet baseball team takes on Pinckneyville today, weather permitting, at 4:30 and it will be on the V and v1047.com. 

The Nashville Hornettes shutout Lebanon 13 to nothing on Friday in 5 innings.
