The Nashville Police Department issued their weekly report and they responded to several accidents.  One was on last Monday involving 2 juveniles on South Mill Street at East Chester Street.  No injuries or citations were listed.  There was also a fender bender that afternoon in the Nashville High School parking lot.  On Thursday, there was an accident in the morning on the Nascote parking lot involving a hit and run.  According to the report, a vehicle owned by 23-year old Mallory Giemer and 24-year old Michael Doran, both of Hoyleton, was struck while it was parked.  A witness reported 27-year old Ella Forys of Carlyle allegedly was the driver.  She was cited for Failure to Report an Accident.  On Saturday, late morning, there was an accident on South Mill Street at the Subway Restaurant.  According to that report, 52-year old Charles Kunkle of Carlyle was pulling out of the parking lot onto South Mill Street, when he allegedly struck the other car going north on South Mill Street, that was driven by 31-year old Cooper F. Orange-Sutherland of Mount Vernon.  The impact was on the driver’s side door, but there were no injuries mentioned.
