The Nashville Police Department made some arrests over the weekend.  On Saturday night, they responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 600 block of East Elm Street.  According to the report, 42-year old Ronnie R. Szabelski of Nashville allegedly injured 35-year old Jennifer Szabelski, as she had visible injuries.  He was also allegedly found to have a bag containing cannabis on his person when taken into custody.  He is in the Washington County Jail on charges of Domestic Battery and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, as well as $3,000 bond.  He is not allowed to have any contact with the victim.  Earlier in the afternoon, they took 19-year old John Wiggers of Nashville into custody on charges of Theft Under $500 and Criminal Defacement of Property Less Than $300.  His bond has been set at $1,500.  The charges stem from an incident on February 14th, when Wiggers allegedly took a bicycle belonging to David McClintock without authorization.  He then allegedly defaced the bike by painting it.  On Friday night, they arrested 25-year old Dustin Johnston of Nashville after initiating a traffic stop on South Grand at East Chester Streets.  He was taken into custody and charged with Driving While License Suspended, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  His bond is set at $1,500.
