It’s starting to sound like a record that keeps skipping, but gas prices went up on a national average this past week, but stayed the same in Illinois.  The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is at $3.68, up 3 cents from the week before.  A year ago, the average was at $3.51 per gallon.  The average for a gallon of regular gas in Illinois is still at $3.89.
