All lanes of westbound Interstate 64 were closed this morning after a tractor trailer slammed into an overpass, killing two people, according to KSDK.  They report the accident occurred on I-64 near Route 177, while other reports and KMOV had the accident happening at the Billhartz Road overpass at approximately 6:20 AM.  A large debris field could be seen strewn across the interstate.  The Illinois State Police is investigating the accident and the names of those involved have not been released.  There was no word of when the highway would be open, as the overpass needed to be inspected, but regardless of what direction you are going in that area, be careful.
