The corner of Routes 15 and 127 in Nashville will soon have another light burning. The old BP gas station has undergone a renovation and will be a Roll N Up smoke and liquor shop and it is nearing completion. KarCo owner, Holly Kruep tells WNSV that they took out the gas pumps, the canopy, renovated the inside and outside, repaved the parking lot and are now finishing up inside, before they redecorate and stock the inside. She says they will still have some of the same conveniences as before, especially with the fountain drinks, but they will also have a wide selection of liquor and smoking products. Kruep says they hoped to be open sooner, but they had some extra unexpected things to fix along the way, and the snow kept them from redoing the parking lot. She says the store will have a drive through on the front corner and they repaved the lane that goes behind Subway to Adams Street. The look will be interesting as well, with retro neon lighting from the mid-century and gooseneck lighting. The plan is to open by Memorial Day and they will have hours scheduled for 8 AM to 11 PM weekdays, 8 to midnight or 1 AM on the weekends and some hours on Sundays.
