Kaskaskia College announces that Dennis Hesker of Okawville has been named the Kaskaskia College 2014 Distinguished Alumnus.  He graduated from Kaskaskia College with an Associate in Arts Degree in 1971.  He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University.  Over the last 40 years, he has worked in the community banking field and currently serves as the President and CEO of First National Bank of Okawville.  Hesker is extremely active in his community and is a long-time and dedicated supporter of Kaskaskia College.  He has served as a Kaskaskia College Foundation Director for nearly 20 years and has been instrumental in the Foundation’s notable fundraising success, helping the organization to raise over $13 million over 10 years.  He has committed his time and financial resources to the College and remains very involved in College events and activities.
