The Saint Louis Cardinals shutout the Arizona Diamondbacks 5 to nothing last night behind a near perfect game from Adam Wainwright, who game up 1 hit with no walks or errors.

The Nashville Hornettes shutout Chester 14 to nothing in the Class 2A Red Bud Regional yesterday.  Maci Ingram pitched a perfect game.  They play on Saturday against the winner of today’s game between Waterloo Gibault and Freeburg.

The Nashville Hornets host the Class 2A Regional, as they take on Waterloo Gibault.  The game will be at 4:30 and it will be on the V and v1047.com.
