An Air Force base in southwestern Illinois soon will be home to two new cyber-security squadrons that will mean 320 new jobs and a $16 million investment in the site.  Democratic U.S. Representative Bill Enyart of Belleville says he was told by Assistant Secretary of the Air Force Kathleen Ferguson that Scott Air Force Base near Mascoutah and another in Texas won the competition and were among seven finalists.  The cyber-protection mission is meant to operate and defend Defense Department information networks.  Enyart says the new jobs at Scott will be created within about two years.
