The Nashville Police Department wasn’t that busy, except for accidents, especially at Illinois Route 127 and Interstate 64.  There was a fender bender on Court Street a week ago, while there were 4 accidents at Route 127 and I-64, one on Thursday evening as 25-year old Stephen Putbrese of Xenia rear-ended a car driven by 34-year old Gary Schultz of Nashville.  Then there were 3 on Friday at different times. One was in the morning as a van driven by 27-year old Aaron Larsen of Granite City rear-ended a car driven by 75-year old Joseph Meyers of Murphsyboro on the east bound off ramp.  In the afternoon, a pickup truck driven by 26-year old Brock Renth of Belleville rear-ended a vehicle driven by 27-year old Megan L. Van Doren of Coulterville, as she was stopped at the stop sign.  Then, late at night, a vehicle driven by 18-year old Morgan Dodson rear-ended a van driven by 44-year old Katrina Schurz of Carbondale, who was stopped at the stop sign.  There were no injuries in any of the accidents.  They also arrested Frank J. Tippen of Nashville on a Jefferson County Warrant for Failure to Appear.  They responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on the 11,700 block of State Route 127 on Tuesday, as well as a welfare check on the 100 block of East Angie Avenue and a child custody dispute on the 700 block of East Adams Street.  On Thursday, there was a report of a lost or stolen license plate on the 1,000 block of Route 127, property damage on the 600 block of South Mill Street and a call about harassment from a resident of the 900 block of West Saint Louis Street.  There was a call of trespassing to a residence on the 7,000 block of Route 127 of Saturday.  They also took 36-year old Esteban Gordillo Diaz of Nashville into custody involving a disturbance and battery.  Then on Sunday, they arrested 40-year old Chad D. Bullock of Nashville for Domestic Battery and responded to a call of a domestic disturbance on the 100 block of East David Drive.  They also reported that on June 18th, 40-year old Collin R. Dover of Carbondale was arrested for an outstanding Washington County warrant.  He was transported from the Saint Clair County Jail to the Washington County Jail.
