The Washington County Animal Control has fewer dogs available for adoption as they had to send some to a rescue shelter in Chicago. They have 9 dogs at this time. The dogs’ ages range from 12 years old to 1 year old. There is also 1 cat and 5 kittens available this week. Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an A.V.I.D. Identification Chip. In addition, new owners will receive a certificate for $50 off spaying or neutering. Pictures are available online at www.petfinder.com and type in 62263 at the first space in the upper left. The shelter is able to keep going, partially through the donation of aluminum cans to help pay for expenses. You can drop those off at the shelter. It is located at 17,990 Richview Road in Nashville.
