A Saint Louis-region coalition of investigators has turned over to local police the probe of a woman’s shooting death in the southwestern Illinois village of Cahokia.  The Belleville News-Democrat reports that the Major Case Squad of Greater Saint Louis no longer is involved in the investigation of the June 27th death of 45-year old Cassandra Holman.  That’s because two suspects already are accused in the case but remain at large.  31-year old Antrell Teen of Bridgeton, Missouri and 25-year old Torrence Neal of Saint Louis are charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery.  Authorities say Holman was shot during a reported invasion of her home and managed to run to a neighbor’s house for help.  But the mother of two children died two hours later at a hospital in nearby Centreville.
