It should be another nice weekend to spend outdoors.  If you like hanging out at the lake, Carlyle Lake has plenty of activities to try, such as fishing, boating, hiking, bicycling, playing on the beaches or camping.  They also have educational programs, such as water safety games, mammal bingo, learning about squirrels and gobble – gobble.  When out on the water in any form or fashion, be sure to have a life vest on.  They rent them for $5, but you get the money back when you return it.  The Visitor Center is open from 10 AM to 6 PM.  For more information on activities or how to reserve a campsite, call 618-594-2484.
