The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees met yesterday for the workshop, which was held to allow the board and college administration to review the proposed 2014-15 college budget, as well as review proposed projects for the coming year.  One project is an addition to the Sports Complex on the College’s main campus.  The addition will include locker rooms for both teams and officiating crews, as well as an activity area for use by students on campus.  The second project is to construct a hallway in the industrial portion of the new Trenton Education Center.  The hallway will allow students further access to labs and classrooms, without disrupting students taking welding classes.  The Board also reviewed the College’s 2014-15 fiscal year budget, the final budget will be voted on during the Board’s regular meeting on July 28th, as well as plans to purchase new equipment for the College’s Physical Plant.  No action was taken on any of the items discussed during the workshop.
