The Summer Concerts on the Courthouse Lawn in Washington County, sponsored by the Washington County Arts Council, has their last show tomorrow night. Spokesman Rick Harris talks about the Lon L. Blues Band and last year’s show, saying it will be a high energy show and you should be ready to be tapping your feet and clapping your hands. He says last year they even recognized some guitar players in the audience and brought them up on stage and hooked them up to the amps and jammed. The show is from 6 to 8 PM and there will be free popcorn, lemonade, ice tea, sweet tea and water. Also, they sometimes have free cookies and Harris explains that donation. He says several years ago Veronica Liszewski began making 150 to 200 fresh made cookies per show and they are individually wrapped, so there is no contamination. So he wanted to thank Veronica for that contribution. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the great weather, music and community togetherness for the final concert on the courthouse lawn in Nashville.
