The Nashville Police were not very busy this past week.  They reported to a call of property damage on the 9,000 block of Route 127, as well as an exchange of property on the 400 block of East Elm Street, responded to a complaint of loud noise on the 100 block of East Angie Street, assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Department with an accident on Thursday, responded to a call of theft on the 100 block of West Saint Louis Street, suspicious activity on the 100 block of South Mill Street, an abandoned vehicle on Willowbrook Drive, and a report of a damaged windshield of a vehicle on the 800 block of Moore Street.  They issued a citation to 35-year old Jeremy A. Harrington of Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, just after midnight, as he was on the Interstate 64 eastbound on ramp.  He was cited for Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Registration and No Valid Driver’s License.  That afternoon, they reported to an accident on the westbound off ramp of I-64 at Route 127.  27-year old Charles A. Johnston of Mount Vernon went around the curve on the ramp and lost control of his pickup truck. It went off the road and struck 2 poles that held up a sign.  He was cited for Improper Lane Usage.  There was a fender bender on the 900 block of South Mill Street also last week.  On Sunday afternoon, they responded to an accident on Route 127, turning into the Citgo Station.  According to that report, 31-year old Jeremy J. Ransom of Carbondale turned into the station from Route 127, but struck a concrete support for a light pole.  He was taken to Washington County Hospital and also cited for No Valid Driver’s License.
