The Saint Louis Cardinals swept the Colorado Rockies over the weekend, winning 5 to 1 on Friday night, 5 to 4 on Saturday night and 4 to 1 yesterday. They are off today and host Milwaukee tomorrow.

The Saint Louis Rams held on for a 19 to 17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday.

The Nashville Hornettes volleyball squad won the 2014 Benton Rangerette Volleyball Classic on Saturday. They beat Thompsonville, then Johnston City and Valmeyer, all in 2 sets in pool play.  They needed 3 sets to beat Carlyle in the first playoff game and beat host Benton in 2 sets for the championship.

The Nashville Hornets football team doubled up Wesclin 52 to 26 on Friday night to remain undefeated this year.
