There number of animals that need homes that are at the Washington County Animal Shelter is still high. There are still 19 dogs, as 3 of 19 were adopted from the previous week, so there are 3 new ones. New dogs include a couple of boxer mix puppies and a shepherd mix. The dogs’ ages range from 10 years old to less than 4 months old. There are 4 cats and 3 kittens available this week, as another cat was brought in. Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an A.V.I.D. Identification Chip. In addition, new owners will receive a certificate for $50 off spaying or neutering.
