A newly-declassified U.S. Senate report says the Chinese government successfully launched 20 cyberattacks in a one-year period on the civilian agency based at Scott Air Force Base that handles troop and equipment logistics. The Chinese hackers stole computer access codes, assorted documents and emails as they broke through the security of the U.S. Transportation Command, known as Transcom. The Chinese reportedly tried fifty attacks in all during that period. Two cybersecurity squadrons, under the Air Force, will be set up at Scott by 2016.
