The Nashville Public Library is having a book fair to coincide with the Fall Festival next weekend. Library Director Linda Summers says they have been accepting donations of books and other items for quite some time, but will take them until Tuesday, so go through your stash this weekend to find what you can donate.  Please bring them during regular hours of 10 AM to 7 PM.  They are already beginning to set up for next weekend.  They will not take textbooks or encyclopedia sets or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books.  They really don’t take magazines either.  Audio books, VHS tapes and D.V.D.s are also accepted.  There will be a preview show on Thursday night and Summers explains the importance of coming that night is that from 5 to 8 PM and it is $4, unless you are a member of the Friends of the Library.  The best buys are that night, and Summers wishes she could convince everyone of that, as their prices are so low already.  This will be the best selection of books, audios and everything else.  There will be good deals on any of the 3 days, but definitely Thursday night is the best time to shop.  It continues on Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday.  A bag sale will begin at noon on Saturday.  They have books of all kinds for all ages, VHS and D.V.D.s, audio books, records and C.D.s.  Prices range from 25 cents to 50 cents each, or cheaper if bought in bulk.  Some books are special and can cost up to $3.  For more information, call the Library at 327-3827.
