The Nashville High School Marching Band is in competition again tomorrow. They will be in the Effingham High School Marching Invitational.  They are scheduled to perform around 2:45 PM.  The awards are not presented until the end at 7:30.  Music Director Steve Browne says by staying until the end, the students get to see the other marching bands, both larger and smaller, perform, which is neat for them.  Browne says there will probably be about 20 bands there, but he isn’t sure how many will be in the same school class size as Nashville, adding that it could be 4 or up to 8.  It is $6 for adults and $3 for children 3 to 12 to get in.  Last month the marching band competed in the Metro East Marching Classic at O’Fallon High School and placed 3rd, but the Flag Corps won 1st place.
