A reported drive-by shooting Sunday night left a Centralia car and home riddled with bullets, but the people inside the home were able to escape injury.  According to Centralia police, a passing vehicle fired shots at a car and home in the 1000 block of North Franklin.  Police were able to recover shell casings from the scene, and report the shots came from two different hand guns.  Reports indicate some of the rounds passed through the home and some came close to striking the home’s occupants, but no injuries were reported.  A car parked in the yard belonged to visitors and was not occupied at the time of the reported shooting.  According to police, no one saw the vehicle involved and investigators have no leads as to who may have been responsible.
