Metro East Police say they are getting several reports of packages that are being stolen off of front doorsteps.  Police in O’Fallon said packages were stolen from at least three homes over the weekend.  UPS officials suggest that anyone expecting a package should contact the company and ask that they deliver the parcel to the back door or require a signature for it to be dropped off.  The package delivery business also recommends having a parcel delivered to the customer’s job if they won’t be home.
