The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline nationwide has another big drop in the past week from $2.25 to $2.18 per gallon, while it was at $3.31 per gallon one year ago.  The drop in Illinois was again significant, as it dropped from $2.20 per gallon of regular gas to $2.12 this past week.  It was below $1.80 over the weekend in Nashville.
