The Saint Louis Blues beat the Carolina Hurricane 5 to 4 in a shootout on Saturday night.

In college hoops action, yesterday, the U of I lost to Nebraska 53 to 43, while on Saturday, SIUC lost 59 to 56 to Indiana State.

The Nashville Hornets beat Pinckneyville 50 to 38 on Friday night and then held off Okawville 49 to 47 on Saturday night.
