An East Saint Louis man is jailed on $500,000 bond after being accused in connection with a shooting death. The Belleville News-Democrat reports that 43-year old Norman Travis was charged Saturday with first-degree murder. Travis surrendered the previous day after being publicly identified as a person of interest in the January 6th shooting death of 46-year old Stephan Mosley, also of East Saint Louis. Police say Travis and Mosley had known each other for years. A possible motive for the shooting has not been disclosed.
