Kaskaskia College is happy to announce that it’s Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Program recently received a donation of a Hybrid Heat System from Koch Air in Saint Louis.  The donations were orchestrated by Professor Mark Kohnen through his contact with Brian Redman, Senior Sales Manager at Koch Air in Saint Louis, and were picked up and delivered.  The donation, which is worth over $4,300 includes a heat pump, gas furnace, cased evaporator coil and thermostat with hybrid heating and cooling system.  Redman hopes that the equipment will assist KC HVAC students on receiving training on Carrier air conditioners and furnaces.  Kohnen says, “We are excited about this donation.  It will allow our students to have hands-on training with fully functional equipment”.
