The Nashville Police Department was busy in the past week and they responded to 3 accidents.  One was a fender bender on the Innertech parking lot on Thursday and another fender bender was on Friday on the 100 block of North East Court Street, by the Washington County Courthouse.  There were no injuries reported or citations issued in either case.  There was a 3-vehicle accident last Monday afternoon on Route 127, approximately 300 feet south of Mockingbird Road.  According to the report, a van driven by 33-year old Crystal Hefner of Bonnie was stopped at the light, while a car driven by 43-year old Sarah Knowles of Cambria was stopped behind the van.  A car driven by 20-year old Javee Patron of DuBois did not stop and rear-ended Knowles’ car, which struck the rear of Hefner’s van.  One passenger in Knowles car was injured, but refused to be taken to the hospital after receiving treatment from the EMS staff.  Patron was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.  They initiated a traffic stop on Wednesday at South Mill Street and East Holzhauer Drive and arrested 43-year old Carlos Lopez of Wentzville, Missouri for Driving with No Valid Driver’s License and gave him a verbal warning for speeding.  They received a report of a lost or stolen wallet at Citgo, assisted the EMS with an incident at Innertech, had reports of suspicious activity on Commerce Drive and on the 600 block of North Grand Avenue, had a report of a suspicious vehicle at Holzhauer’s, as well as at South Mill Street and East Holzhauer Drive, assisted Animal Control with a complaint on the 100 block of East Angie Avenue, responded to a report of child custody visitation interference on Saturday and another report on Sunday, this time on the 600 block of West Walnut Street, reported to a call of a suspicious person at Memorial Park and a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of West Chester Street.  A week ago, they arrested 29-year old Michael A. Snider of Logan, Illinois for violation of a bail bond, after they arrived at an apartment on the 800 block of South Mill Street to serve a no trespassing notice to him, as he was not allowed to have any contact of any kind, including that of social media of a victim of his that is living there.  On December 21, 2014 was a domestic battery call at a residence on the 800 block of South Mill Street, as Snider allegedly had battered his girlfriend, 28-year old Tiffany Frech, of Nashville, and 24-year old Brandi Kendall of Robinson, who reported that he allegedly pushed her to the ground also.  He was charged with Domestic Battery and Battery.
