The number of animals that need homes that are at the Washington County Animal Shelter has gone up again in the past week, as 1 more dog was brought in, including a blue Pitbull, while no dogs were adopted for the 3rd week in a row.  There are 2 cats at the shelter this week, as there had not been any cats for over month now, so there are now 13 animals at the shelter that need homes.  Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an A.V.I.D. Identification Chip.  In addition, new owners will receive a certificate for $50 off spaying or neutering.  Pictures are available online at www.petfinder.com and type in 62263 at the first space in the upper left.  The shelter accepts aluminum cans for recycling to help pay for expenses of housing the cats and dogs.  It is located at 17,990 Richview Road in Nashville.  For more information, call 327-4800, extension 355.
