Kaskaskia College Agriculture students recently attended the National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization Conference in Boise, Idaho.  Students winning Illinois State P.A.S. honors qualified for this event.  Over 600 students attended from across the nation from agriculture programs at 2 and 4-year schools.  The KC Dairy Specialist Team received 1st place including Addy Brennan of Trenton with a 3rd Individual and Emily Irwin with a 1st Individual.  This is now the fourth consecutive national winning team in this contest.  The College Bowl Team also received 1st Place.  Students winning National P.A.S. awards include Ben Wiegmann of Breese for 3rd in Plant Systems Career Planning, Dylan Guenzburger of Carlyle for 1st in Power, Structural, & Technical Systems Career Planning, Courtney Gerstenecker of Carlyle with a 1st in both Agricultural Education Career Progress and Agribusiness Management & Marketing Employment Interview.  Others competing were Amy Thole of Carlyle and Jenna Hilmes of Breese.
