The Washington County Health Department will be offering alcohol sellers and servers education and training classes in the county on Monday, April 20th and Monday, April 27th. The Illinois Liquor Control Commission regulates and enforces businesses on selling alcohol to underage people. The goal is to properly train owners and workers on responsibility selling and serving alcohol at stores, bars and restaurants. This can help lower the number of drunk driving fatalities. It can also keep businesses and workers from getting fined or arrested for selling to underage residents. Classes will be held on the two Mondays at 1 PM at the Washington County Health Department and will cost $15. Call 327-3644 for more information or to register for the class.
