The Kaskaskia College Computer Information Technology Advisory Board met recently for their Annual Advisory Meeting.  Members provided feedback to all changes made to degree and certificate programs from the April 2014 meeting and approved a new Cyber Defense Degree program for the CIT program as presented without any further recommended changes.  The existing Web Design and Systems Master degree will have JavaScript class removed and replaced with a Java course, but the credit hours will remain the same.  Student success and extended activities were shared, events students have participated in and sponsored throughout the past school year were also shared.  Ideas and strategies were formulated to ensure CIT student & program success.  Two CIT department awards were presented to SUIC and Washington County Health Department.
