Pinckneyville officially has a new mayor. Election officials counted the final ballots Tuesday, which is two weeks after the actual ballots were cast. Robert Spencer was ruled the winner over Fran Thomas. The delay was because eight mail-in ballots needed to be counted in a close race. Spencer will take office on May 11th.
