Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that the Arlington, Virginia-based Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute has donated 13 pieces of new equipment, with a retail value of $21,000, for use in its Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program.  KC HVAC Professor Mark Kohnen explained that he learned about the equipment donation program through AHRI’s Director of Education, Warren Lupson.  AHRI is a one of the larger trade associations in the Nation.  AHRI represents more than 300 heating, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration manufacturers within the global HVACR industry.  AHRI’s member companies account for more than 90 percent of the residential and commercial, air conditioning, space heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment manufactured and sold in North America.
