The Washington County Coroner’s office was notified of a fatality from a motorcycle accident at 12:08 AM on Saturday.  28-year old Chad Wright of Breese was apparently operating a southbound motorcycle on County Highway 12 west of Okawville at a high rate of speed.  As he approached the intersection with Nightingale Road, he ran off the west side of the road at a curve striking a concrete culvert.  He was thrown from the motorcycle landing in a field 73 yards west of the point of impact.  Wright was pronounced dead at the scene by Washington County Coroner Mark Styninger.  There were no other occupants on the motorcycle.  Toxicology tests were performed by Coroner Styninger and there will not be an autopsy.  The accident continues to be investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the Okawville Police Department and the Washington County Coroner’s office.
