The Saint Louis Cardinals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 6 to 4 last night to win the series and go for the sweep tonight.

The Nashville Hornette softball team shutout Pinckneyville 5 to nothing in the Class 2A Carterville Sectional yesterday.  They move onto the Sectional final on Saturday morning.
