The Nashville Police Department was busy in the past week, as they responded to 4 accidents.  They also initiated a traffic stop last Monday afternoon on North Mill Street at East Saint Louis Street and issued citations to 23-year old Rodney D. Bailey for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on an expired registration sticker and driving while license suspended.  He was also arrested for Driving While License Suspended and taken to jail.  There was an accident last Tuesday morning on South Heaman Street near East Gorman Street.  A vehicle driven by 64-year old Katherine M. Watts of Nashville was backing out of a driveway and struck a van.  There were no injuries reported.  There was another accident in the afternoon on the 11,700 block of Route 127, in front of the Shell Station.  A vehicle driven by 73-year old Joyce E. Harvill of Johnson City, Tennessee was going north on Route 127, when a vehicle driven by 26-year old Nicholas Y. Wilson of Dallas, Oregon was pulling out of the parking lot in front of Harvill’s car, causing both vehicles to attempt to swerve away, but still collided.  There were no injuries or citations issued.  On Wednesday, there was an accident in the afternoon on East Saint Louis Street at South Mill Street as a vehicle driven by Margaret Steury was stopped at the red light, when a vehicle driven by Katy Kosydor bumped into the other vehicle.  Later that evening, the NPD initiated a traffic stop on West Saint Louis Street near Willowbrook Drive, as 34-year old Rigoberto Gutierrez-Santos of Nashville was arrested for Driving with No Valid Driver’s License, as well as getting a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, while getting verbal warnings for Obstructed Windshield, Failure to Wear a Seatbelt and Improper Lane Usage.  On Saturday, there was an accident in the afternoon on the Dollar General parking lot, as there was a fender bender.
