There was a fire at the Country Kitchen in Oakdale yesterday morning.  It was reported at about 8 AM as heavy smoke was seen.  The Coulterville Fire Department was joined by the Nashville Fire Department, Tilden Fire Department, Addieville Fire Department and Okawville Fire Department.  According to the Nashville Fire report, the cause could be electrical, as the restaurant was closed at the time.  The origin seemed to be in the main food preparation area, but there is extensive damage inside due to smoke, heat and water.  No one was injured, but according to the Country Kitchen Facebook page, they won’t be open for a while.
