Surveillance photos have helped bring a quick end to the manhunt for the suspect in Wednesday night’s deadly shooting at a church in Charleston, South Carolina. A motorist yesterday spotted the car driven by Dylann Roof in North Carolina, and alerted authorities. Police arrested the 21-year old without resistance. Authorities say he killed nine people at a prayer meeting inside the historic black church. The Justice Department has begun a hate crime investigation. Police say Roof was at the church for nearly an hour for a prayer meeting before the shooting. Officials say the study group believed the shooter wanted to join them in studying the Bible, and they accepted him there. Authorities in South Carolina are identifying the nine people killed by Roof. They included State Senator Clementa Pinckney, the pastor of the church. The other eight victims included a county librarian and a recent college graduate. The victims ranged in age from 26 to 87.
