The remnants of Tropical Storm Bill hit southern Illinois Friday afternoon leading to heavy rain, flooding and a few tornadoes.  The National Weather Service in Paducah says an EF-1 tornado with 110 mile per hour winds did some major damage to a two-story home near West Frankfort.  The home lost a large portion of its roof and front porch.  A small storage shed and fencing was also damaged.  Dozens of trees limbs were also broken and trees were uprooted.  In Murphysboro, an EF-1 tornado with winds of 95 miles per hour damaged a large section of a roof including rafters of a commercial wooden building.  A couple of pontoons were also flipped over.  Some power poles snapped along with tree limbs and one tree was reported down.  Another EF-1 tornado with winds of 90 miles per hour briefly touched down near Goreville causing several trees and limbs to be knocked down.  In Macedonia, an EF-0 tornado with winds of 75 miles per hour was reported breaking tree limbs and flattening corn stalks.  And in the Norris City-Enfield area, an EF-0 tornado with winds of 85 miles per hour blew some corn in several fields and broke several large limbs.  A small shed was blown over along with some fencing and a tree was uprooted.
