The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to several accidents in the past week, but they also took a report of telephone harassment from a resident of Hoyleton and responded to rural Oakdale for a report of suspicious activity on Thursday.  On Friday they arrested 57-year old April C. Anderson of Sparta on a Washington County Warrant for Failure To Appear on previous deceptive practice charges.  They also took a report of theft from a motor vehicle in Richview.  On Saturday, deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity in Ashley and assisted the Okawville Police with a couple of traffic stops.  On Sunday, they took 55-year old Patrick G. Anderson of Ellis Grove, Illinois into custody for Driving While License Suspended.
