The Nashville City Council met last night for a short meeting.  There were 260 residents that recycled 9.3 tons last month.  That is close to the 288 residents that recycled 9.01 tons of items in October.  The road work on North Mill Street, after it splits from Route 127, has been completed this week and the road is open.  Work to add a drop box for water to drain off the road in front of Friendship Manor to keep the front door area from flooding, will begin next week.  The Council approved of a bid by R. Henry Habbe in the amount of $5,000 to demolish the house and garage at 362 East Lebanon Street and then have the materials hauled off to the landfill.  They also approved of giving the city employees $100 in Nashville Dollars, as they have done in the past for Christmas.  There will be a tax levy hearing on Thursday, December 17th at 6:45 PM, for the tax levy for the Nashville Public Library.  The regular meeting will follow at 7 PM.
