It’s that time of the year again to visit downtown Coulterville for the 13^th Annual Holiday Light Display, a free event, open now through December 27^th.  Come stroll through the 1/2 Mile Walk through display featuring a million lights and 450 Christmas figurines, including a walk through their version of the “Candyland” game.  They offer free refreshments and activities every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 8 PM this month. The display features over 450 Wooden Christmas Figurines among a million lights that light the park. Included in the display is 15 Animated Displays including Santa’s Playland with a ferris wheel and a merry-go round.  The Miniature Ceramic Christmas Village has over 300 pieces to view.   Volunteers work throughout the year creating wooden cut outs and changing light bulbs.  Then after Thanksgiving dinner the community gathers and by the end of the weekend the display is ready to view.  The display is designed so visitors can park and walk throughout the park and enjoy the Christmas music that plays in the park.
