The Nashville Police Department responded to some accidents in the past week, but last Monday, they responded to the 200 block of East Alton Street for a theft and went to the 100 block of North Mill Street for a report of fraud.  One week ago, they responded to the 900 block of West Saint Louis Street for a domestic disturbance, took a report of a missing person from the 11,700 block of Route 127 and the person was found, responded to the 11,600 block of Route 127 for a 911 hang-up call, and initiated a traffic stop on the eastbound off ramp of Interstate 64, where they arrested 24-year old Nicole Crisler of Murphysboro for Driving While License Suspended and for Operating a Vehicle With Suspended Registration, while also issuing her a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle.  On Wednesday, they assisted a motorist with a flat tire, responded to the 600 block of South Grand Avenue for a theft, went to a call of property damage on the 100 block of North Mill Street and responded to the 900 block of South Mill Street for a theft.  On Thursday, on I-64, they located and stopped a stolen vehicle from Chicago.  The driver, 22-year old Chaz D. Jackson of Chicago was placed under arrest for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid Driver’s License.  On Friday, the NPD assisted the Sheriff’s Office with traffic control, responded to the 200 block of West Alton Street for a telephone scam involving the IRS and went to the 800 block of North Mill Street for a civil issue.  On Saturday, they assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a residential alarm on Lebanon Road.  On Sunday, officers responded to the 200 block of West Walnut Street for a domestic dispute, went to the 11,700 block of Route 127 for a theft, responded to the Washington County Hospital to assist with a combative patient, who was then transferred to a Mount Vernon hospital.
