While responded to some accidents in the past week, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the Prairie State Energy campus in Marissa for suspicious activity on Wednesday, as well as taking a report of a theft from a residence in Clairmin and took a residential burglary report from a residence in rural Johanisburg.  On Thursday, they received a report of fraud from a resident of Ashley.  Then on Friday, deputies assisted the Okawville Police on a call and took a report of telephone harassment occurring in rural Hoyleton.  On Saturday, they responded to rural Okawville for a domestic trouble incident and went to a call in rural Nashville for a report of suspicious activity.  On Sunday, the WCSD assisted the Nashville Police Department on a domestic disturbance call, spoke to a resident of Hoyleton in reference to suspicious activity and assisted the NPD on a medical call.
