The Nashville Police Department did not respond to any accidents in the past week, but Last Monday, they went to the 400 block of South Friendship Drive for a theft, responded to the 11,600 block of Route 127 for a missing person report, but the person was located and found to be suicidal, and they went to the 600 block of West Lebanon Street for a disturbance. One week ago, they responded to the 800 block of North Kaskaskia Street about a suspicious person, went to the 1,000 block of West Lebanon Street for an attempted identity theft involving an attempted change of address through social security, responded to the 1300 block of South Mill Street for a 911 hang-up call, went to the 100 block of North Mill Street for a loud noise complaint, responded to a call of a gas drive-off at Casey’s, went to the 11,700 block of Route 127 for a domestic dispute, and responded to the 1500 block of South Mill Street for an alarm. On Wednesday, officers responded to the 200 block of West Walnut Street for lines down across the street. They also initiated a traffic stop on Route 127 at IDOT Shed Road and arrested 31-year old Carly Owsiak of Columbus, Georgia for Driving While License Suspended and for Obstructing Identification, as well as citing her for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle and Operating a Vehicle with Expired Registration. Later that night, they went to the Nashville Motel and arrested 37-year old Travis Burnett on a Washington County warrant. On Thursday, they went to the 100 block of East Angie Avenue for vandalism, assisted the EMS with a call on the 800 block of West Maple Street, and responded to the Washington County Hospital Emergency Room to assist the Okawville Police with a prisoner. On Christmas, the NPD responded to the 16,000 block of Route 15 for an alarm, went to the 100 block of South Washington Street for an alarm and responded to a call of a reckless driver, in which they arrested Nathanael Baker of DuQuoin for Driving While License Suspended and Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. On Saturday, they assisted the Sheriff’s Department with a domestic disturbance south of Nashville, responded to a fire alarm on the 500 block of West Goodner Street, went to the 10,300 block of Route 127 for an alarm and responded to the 300 block of West Belleville Street for a 911 hang-up call. On Sunday, officers went to the 100 block of West Saint Louis Street for an alarm and responded to the 100 block of West Walnut Street for a report of credit card fraud.
