The Nashville Grade School Board of Education met before Christmas and Superintendent Mike Brink told them about some laws and possible laws for 2016 that their school and others in Illinois would need to be aware of.  One of those concerns having carbon monoxide alarms installed in the school.  The Regional Office of Education has told them to hold on before purchasing and installing anything, until the all the guidelines come through, as they are still in question, but then NGS will need to quickly address it.  Brink explains what this means, as an alarm or detector must be located within 20 feet of a carbon monoxide emitting device.  In new construction, this will have to be tied into an alarm.  As of now a simple plug in available at a store is okay, but this may not be the final solution.  This is unfunded, so the school will have to find ways to fund the project.
