The Saint Louis Blues beat the Nashville Predators 4 to 3 in overtime last night.

In the Mater Dei tournament yesterday, the Nashville Hornets played twice, as they beat Carlyle 65 to 59 in the first game of the day.  In the second game of the day for them, they lost 45 to 43 to Okawville.  The action continues today with the final games beginning at noon with all games on the V and v1047.com with Carlyle taking on Mascoutah for 9^th place, then Nashville takes on Sacred Heart Griffin for 7^th place at 1:30, and it will be Highland against Metro East Lutheran for 5^th place.  In the evening session, the 3^rd place game will have host Mater Dei taking on Briarcrest, while Okawville will play for the championship against Breese Central at 7:30.

Yesterday in the Mascoutah Girls Invitational tournament, the Nashville Hornettes beat Althoff 47 to 39, which meant they moved on to play in the afternoon.  Nashville then lost 41 to 36 to Mater Dei, thus ending the Hornettes run in the tournament.   Also, in the tournament yesterday, Okawville beat Christopher 53 to 51 in their first game of the day, but lost 39 to 32 to Mount Vernon last night, thus ending their run in the tournament.
