The Nashville Police Department was busy in the past week.  Last Monday, they responded to the 700 block of East Holzhauer Drive for an uncontrollable subject and assisted the Nashville Fire Department with traffic control on South Grand.  One week ago, they responded to the 400 block of East Maple Street for another uncontrollable subject, went to the 11,600 block of Route 127 for a 911 hang-up call, responded to Route 15 at South Broadway for an intoxicated subject and he was transported to Washington County Hospital by EMS, went to the 100 block of East Second Street for suspicious activity and located a suspicious person on North Kaskaskia Street.  On Wednesday, officers responded to the 600 block of North Mill Street for a VIN verification, went to the 500 block of West Adams Street for a domestic disturbance and responded to the 100 block of East David Drive for an overdose.  On Thursday, they responded to the 100 block of North Mill Street for a suspicious person and initiated a traffic stop in the afternoon on South Mill Street at East Park Lane.  They arrested 53-year old Lisa A. Porter of Nashville for Driving While License Revoked and Unlawful Display of Registration Plate and Registration Sticker Not Authorized for the Vehicle, while issuing her citations for Expired Registration and Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  On New Year’s Day, the NPD responded to the 100 block of South Mill Street for an alarm, went to Holzhauers Auto Park for suspicious activity after business hours and at night, initiated a traffic stop on Route 127 at Richview Road.  They issued citations to 18-year old Wesley K. Ellison for Speeding and given a notice to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.  On Saturday, they responded to the 100 block of South Mill Street for another alarm, went to the 1500 block of West Saint Louis Street for a civil dispute and initiated a traffic stop at night on South Mill Street in front of the high school.  34-year old Carlos Ocampo-Castro of Nashville was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and issued a verbal warning for Obstructed Windshield.  On Sunday, officers assisted the Sheriff’s Office with an unruly inmate at the jail, took a report of harassment, responded to the 200 block of North Kaskaskia Street for recovered property, assisted EMS with a call on the 500 block of West High Street and assisted EMS with another call on the 500 block of East Gym Street.
